Bayelsa United See Off Stubborn Bendel Insurance In NNL Matchday 2

Wisdom Magbisa 94th minute strike gave Bayelsa United a one zero victory over visitors Bendel Insurance in a matchday two of the Nigeria National League NNL,South South derby decided at the Samson Siasia Stadium Yenagoa.
The diminutive midfielder who came in for winger Esobe Chukwudi in the second half arrived at the far post with a minute left to the end of hostility to send the home side into jubilation.
Bernard Okorowanta,starting a second consecutive game impressed again alongside Josiah Daniel who should have shot the Restoration Boys in front in the 40th minute when his goal-bound drive was pushed away for a corner by Bendel Insurance goalkeeper Amas Obasogie.
The host had earlier frittered a plethora of chances to claim the early advantage but failed to hit the underbelly of the opposition.
The Restoration Boys will next face Julius Atete FC at the Otuejerremi Stadium in Ughelli.
