Nigeria’s Olympics team assistant coach, Kennedy Boboye has resigned his position as the chief coach of NPFL side, Remo Stars, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

According to Tunde Shamsudeen, the former Plateau United coach threw in the towel after a disappointing 0-0 home result against Niger Tornadoes on Sunday.

Reporting the resignation on his Twitter handle, @ipool2013, Shamsudeen noted that “The Ikene side are having a difficult NPFL season and placed bottom with just 14 points after 16 games.”

The former NPFL winning coach severed relationship with the club barely five months after taking over the reigns.

Recall that Kenned Boboye was appointed as Remo Stars coach in January this year.
