Shalom Alaka’s double in the 34th and 38th minutes and Ketu Clement second half strike was all Casmatt FC needed to win their first FCT FA Cup match, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands
Casmatt FC defeated Camp United 3-0 in the third match of the 2019 FCT FA Cup decided at Area 3 Play Ground, Abuja.
Shalom Alaka in the 34th breezed past two Camp United defenders from right to left before placing the ball beyond the reach of the goalkeeper to give his team a deserved lead.
Shalom completed his brace four minutes later as he lobbed the ball above the keeper to seal his team lead.
In the 75th minute Ketu Clement compounded Camp United woes as scored from Obodo Nidifreke’s rebound following his shot that hit the cross bar before Clement slotted the ball behind the net.
Casmatt FC coach, Abimbola Samuel while speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng after the game said that his objective is to represent FCT in the 2019 national Aiteo Cup.
The former Sunshine Stars coach, reiterated that they have all it takes to play and beat any team in FCT FA Cup.
He added that a group of individuals partner and sponsor Casmatt FC, thus, the team wont face financial challenges.
“We are here to win and represent FCT in the 2019 National Aiteo Cup. Though, it is our first outing but others should watch out for us as we target nothing but the trophy.”
