As part of his determination to support the spread of Islam and promote unity among humanity, Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa have donated the sum of $1, 500 – an equivalent of N622, 500 – to a Cameroonian Mosque.

Musa who himself is a Muslim, donated the $1,500 to a Central Mosque in Garoua, Cameroon to support the ongoing building project.

According to report, players and officials of the Super Eagles have been worshiping in the Central Mosque since they arrived in Garoua two weeks ago

The gesture to support the ongoing building project was appreciated by the leaders of the Mosque.

Since arriving Garoua on January 5th, Super Eagles have converted the coastal city into their home as they easily dispatched their opponents in Group D at the venue.

They defeated Egypt 1-0, Sudan 3-1 and Guinea Bissau 2-0 to round.off their preliminary stage of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

They will host Tunisia in the Round of 16 knockout stage on Sunday in the same venue, Roumde Adjia Stadium, Garoua.
