Enyimba Crash Out Of Africa Football League After Wydad 4-0 Humiliation

Nigeria champions, Enyimba FC on Thursday were bundled out of the maiden Africa Football League, AFL after they were thrashed 3-0 by Moroccan side, Wydad Casablanca
Enyimba, current Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL champions suffered 4-0 aggregate defeat after they lost the first leg in Uyo on Sunday by alone goal.
The three goals were scored in the first half with El Amloud opening the net on the dot of 4 minute.
Thirty-five minutes later, J. Harkass doubled the lead before Attiat Allah made it three with one minute left for the first half.
The second half did not see further goals as the North Africans controlled the game and ensured that their Wes Africa guests left the eight-team league without scoring a goal.
Enyimba, who also were eliminated in the first round of the 2023 CAF Champions League, did t score a goal in the two-leg encounters. They were the only Nigerian club selected by the Confederation of Africa Football, CAF to play in the new league.
