EXCLUSIVE: How Sen. Ifeanyi Uba Won Second Term As Anambra State FA Chairman

The saying in life that one good turn deserves another was in play Monday, 27 July, 2020 as Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah was re-elected for another term in office as chairman of Anambra State Football Association, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Senator Ifeanyi whose tenure was three months ago extended by three months following the outbreak of COVID-19 and disruption of all football and sporting activities in the country got the majority of the votes to retain his position.

Sen Ubah who is representing Anambra South in the 9th National Assembly
got a total of 22 votes out of the 26 members who cast their votes during the election.

Senator Ubah, the owner of Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL side, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, was sworn in along with other newly elected Executive Board Members same day.

Moment after they took oath if office, the newly elected ANSFA board paid a courtesy visit to Anambra state renowned philanthropist, and the grand patron of the FA, Patron Arthur Eze.

During the visit, Prince Eze promised to support the FA Board to develop football in the state.

Prince Arthur Eze also donated the sum of N10 million to the FA programmes as the newly elected Executives begin plans for a new term in office.

Senator (Dr) Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, is a Nigerian businessman, entrepreneur and currently the Senator, representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the Nigerian senate and CEO of Capital Oil, which he founded in 2001.
