FIFA, CAF, NFF Celebrate Austin Okocha @47

World Football governing body, FIFA as well as their Africa continental counterpart, Confederation of Africa Football, CAF all celebrated Nigeria legend, Austin Jay Jay Okocha on his birthday, Friday, Best Choice Sports can report.
FIFA and CAF took to their various twitter handles to celebrate the tow-time BBC Africa Footballer of the Year as he clocked 47 on August 14, 2020.

“Happy birthday to born entertainer Jay-Jay Okocha,” FIFA said of the former Enugu Rangers player
CAF described Okocha as an incredible talent who entertained millions with his silky skills and creative dribbling ability

Meanwhile the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF was not left out among football bodies that honoured Okocha on his great day.
Writing on their twitter handle, NFF described the former PSG star as ‘magical’
“Happy birthday to the magical @IAmOkocha,” they said.
Going further to say that he was too good that they named him twice, NFF wisb him to have a good moment.
“Too good he was named twice. Have a good one legend!”
Austin Jay Jay Okocha, born in Enugu state, won Nigerian Footballer of the Year a record 7 times in 1995, 1997, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and a runner-up in 1996.
He was part of the Super Eagles team that qualified Nigeria for her first ever World Cup final in 1994 and also played a prominent role as the team won gold medal in the 1996 Olympic Games.
