IHF President Commends HFN On Promotion Of Handball

The International Handball Federation (IHF) President, Hassan Moustafa has commended the Nigeria Handball Federation, NHF for promoting the game of handball in the country, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

Mr Moustafa expressed confidence in the Samuel Ocheho led HFN board.

He made the statement Thursday during a Webinar joint meeting organized by the IHF for the Presidents and Secretaries of the members Federation as part of the IHF Week Celebrations.

Moustafa praised the leadership of the Handball Federation of Nigeria led by Mr Samuel Ocheho for promoting the game of Handball in Nigeria, he was very proud of the good development and urged the Federation to keep up with the good job.

“The IHF would continue to encourage Hard work and will always ready to work hand in hand with Nigeria”

Earlier on in his remarks, the HFN President, Mr Samuel Ocheho congratulated the IHF President on the celebration of the IHF WEEK. He said the Nigeria Handball family is happy to identify with the international Handball Federation having earlier in the week commenced the celebration in Nigeria through an all inclusive Webinar activities that involves the Egyptian and Angolan Presidents including Dr Lanre Glover to do justice to the problems and prospects of Handball game in Nigeria.

The HFN President concluded by reassuring that the Nigeria Handball Federation would not relent in her efforts to promoting the game of Handball in the country and will from time to time ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship with the Confederation and International Handball Federation.

Some of the speakers from other countries included the Angolan President who also registered his conviction on the activities of the HFN Board most especially during the on going IHF WEEK, others are Ally from Pakistan, Mr Edison from Zimbabwe, Andrei Balestki (Belarus), Adamou Amadou (Niger Rep), Mr Labane (Algeria), Chalie Choute (Haiti) and Charles Amofah from Ghana among others.
