World football Governing body, the Federation of International Football Association, FIFA has congratulated Nigeria Premier Football League side, Remo Stars FC on winning the 2024/2025 league title.

FIFA in the congratulatory letter dated 21^st May 2025, personally signed by its President, Gianni Infantino, addressed to the Nigeria Football Federation President, said Remo Stars’ triumph as a result of constant efforts throughout the season and efforts which have paid off.

FIFA further commended the NFF for its effort in develing the game of football in the country.

“By means of this letter, I am pleased to congratulate the new champions of Nigeria, Remo Stars FC. Their constant efforts and results throughout the season have paid off, resulting in this important title.

“Congratulations to each and every member of the team and of the club for this great achievement.

“While thanking you and your Federation for your continuous support, work, and dedication for the development of football in your country, I look forward, dear President, to seeing you again soon,” the letter read.

Remo Stars in April won the 2024/2025 NPFL title, the first time in their history.
