The management and players of Fosla Football Club, FFC wish to express our sympathy to FC Ifeanyi Ubah players and management who were recently attacked by yet to be identified gunmen near Lokoja, Kogi State on their way to honour their NPFL match against Jigawa Golden Stars on Friday

We condemn the attack which is unwarranted and call on the federal and state government to take greater proactive measures to provide security in our highways.
Football is the most unifying factor not just in the country but globally and the attack on these players and officials who are on transit speaks volume of a lost value and disoriented youthful society.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah, former FA Cup champions in the country is a club that has provided means of livelihoods to tens of hundreds of Nigerians and even foreigners.

The owner of the club, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is a man who has done, sacrificed, promoted and still doing a lot for Nigeria football. While wishing the injured driver quick recovery, we appeal to the security agents to fish out the attackers and bring them to justice.
