Heartland Coach Ilechukwu Appeals To Nigeria Media On Headline

Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League Side, Heartland FC of Owerri, Fidelis Ilechukwu has appealed to Nigeria sports journalists to be soft in their headlines, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
Although the former MFM FC of Lagos did not give reasons for his appeal, he commended the media for doing a great job in projecting the image of the national teams, the leagues, coaches and players.
Coach Ilechukwu who led the MFM to second place finish in the 2017/18 league season said that most of the headlines by the journalists “are causing a lot of problems for football lovers in Nigeria.”
“Our journalists are fantastic people, they are really trying in projecting the national teams, the various leagues, coaches and players but they need to do more in the area of headline.
“I don’t know but I think they can do better.
“I will like to appeal to Nigerian media to please be soft on the use of headline. Headline is really causing a lot problems amongst football lovers in Nigeria,” he was quoted.
