The Handball Federation of Nigerian, HFN has maintained that the 2021 National Handball Division One League slated to hold in Edo State next month is in intact, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

HFN Secretary General, Mr Mohammed Maigidansanma who disclosed this on Thursday noted that all programmes of the federation as earlier planned are still as scheduled.

While reintrating that the National Handball Division One League will hold from 9th to 17th July, 2021, he however added that the National U-12/15 will now hold from 30th July to 8th August, 2021 in Sokoto as approved by the State Government.

According to the scribe, the final programme for the year would be the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League planned to hold from October 8 to 22, 2021 in Abuja

“As earlier updated on the HFN program of activities ahead, note that the NATIONAL HANDBALL DIVISION ONE LEAGUE slated for Benin-city, Edo State would hold as scheduled from 9-17 July, 2021.

“Also, the National U-12/15 will now hold from 30th July to 8th August, 2021 in Sokoto as approved by the Sokoto State Government.

“Lastly, another consolidated edition of the PRUDENT ENERGY HANDBALL PREMIER LEAGUE will hold from 8-23 October, 2021 in Abuja,” the statement read.

Mr Maigidansanma added that Invitation letters would reach out to teams concerned on or before Monday, 28th June, 2021.
