I am A Free Agent Now – Makinwa

Former Katsina United coach, Henry Makinwa has stated that he is now a free agent and ready to join any club in the country once the terms and conditions are favourable, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
The former A S coach disclosed this an exclusive interview Monday.
Coach Makinwa who spoke on the backdrop of his resignation as Katsina United coach noted that his almost two years experience with the The Changi Boys.
“I want to let the whole world to know I am free now. And I can take up any appointment any moment from now,” the coach said.
“My experience with the club was fantastic. The records were there for people to see. We broke records. We were number 7 on the log, it has never happened in their career.
“Also player development. Like the indigene players such as Dan Sule, Usman, etc. most of them were inculcated into the first team. We also have Musa Ronaldo. A lot of them.
“Under my technical ability, they recorded the first away win in the league, we had four away draws. I think it is the best they ever had. It has been a fantastic year for me, for the club and for everybody.
” I had mutual support from the management, the players, everybody. It was a successful period for me.”
On whether he achieved his objective with the club, coach Makinwa said he was satisfied with what he achieved with the club but lamented that he would not be there to actualise the management Target of picking a continental ticket at the end of the 2020/2021 NPFL season
“The records are there. What we wanted to do this season was to qualify for the continental competition but it is not going to happen with me. Maybe with the boys and the new coach who was my assistant.
“I think he is fit and qualified to do the job, I wish him well.”
