Iheanacho Accuses Maguire Of ‘Stealing’ His Slippers
Nigeria forward, Kelechi Iheancho has accused former teammate and new Manchester United signing, Harry Maguire of “stealing” his before the latter joined the former Red Devils in a record £80 Million pound deal, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands.
Harry Maguire may have headed to Manchester United, but it seems he did something wrong to former teammate Kelechi Iheanacho before his exit from Leicester City.
Maguire became the Old Trafford club’s second most expensive signing after French midfielder Paul Pogba, who was signed for a then world-record fee of 89 million pounds from Juventus in 2016.
While Maguire is now trying to settle down for business at his new club, a video has surfaced where Nigeria international Iheanacho jokingly accused him of ‘stealing’ his slippers.
In the short video posted by a twitter user, the Super Eagles player was seen looking for his slippers inside Leicester dressing room, and when he saw Maguire passing by, he asked if it was the 26-year-old that took it.
“Abi Maguire na you carry my slippers?” He asked in Nigeria’s pidgin language, which means “Maguire are you the one that took my slippers?”
Iheanacho is set for the 2019/20 English Premier League season after putting up an impressive performance during Leicester City’s pre-season.
