Iheanacho Missing, Ndịdị In Action As Leicester City Thrash Hapless Newcastle At King Power

By Vitus Michael
Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho was not on Brendan Rodgers team list on Sunday but his compatriot, Wilfred Ndịdị saw 90 minutes of action as Leicester City hammered hapless Newcastle 4-0 at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
The Foxes who got eliminated from the Europa League on Thursday, humiliated the relegation strugglers in a much one-sided game.
It is two consecutive matches Iheanacho was missing as he did not travel to Naples during the Europa League last group match against Napoli last week.
A Youri Tielemans brace helped fire Leicester to a comfortable 4-0 victory against Newcastle.
The Belgian had put the Foxes ahead after a controversial penalty had been awarded for a foul on James Maddison, before Patson Daka doubled the hosts lead after the break.
Tielemans then doubled his personal tally before Maddison added to Eddie Howe’s misery with a late fourth goal.
Ademola Lookman, on loan from RB Leipzig was also not listed for the game after missing the Europa league match.
The victory takes Leicester City at 8th position with 22 points from 16 matches.
