UEFA Champions League winners, Chelsea have celebrated their former wing-back player and Nigeria international, Victor Moses on His birthday.

The former Liverpool, West Ham, Stoke City and Inter Milan attacker clocked 31 on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

And Chelsea, who won the 2021 UEFA Champions League after a 1-0 win against fellow EPL rivals Manchester City, celebrated their former player via their official Facebook page.

“Happy Birthday, Victor Moses!”, the Blues said.

Moses joined Chelsea in 2012 from Wigan Athletics but for the 2016-2018 Antonio Conte administration as manager, he never managed to secure a place in Chelsea’s squad. He went on loans for six of the nine seasons he was on Chelsea’s books.

Nevertheless, with the Blues, he won a Premier League, Europa League, Community Shield and an FA Cup.

At international level, Moses switched nationalities back to his country of birth, Nigeria in 2011 and played crucial roles as Nigeria qualified for and won the 2013 African Cup of Nations, as well as helping the country make it to the 2014 and 2018 World Cups.

However, with the team existing the 2018 World Cup at the group stage, Moses announced a shock retirement from international football in 2018.

There are rumours the 31-year-old could now be welcomed back into the Super Eagles’ ranks for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon next month.

Victor Moses currently plays for Russian side, Sparta Moscow which he joined on July 2nd, 2021 after he left Chelsea permanently.
