Isaac Success Injured In Watford’s Preseason
Watford manager Javi Gracia has confirmed that Nigerian striker Isaac Success is injured with a hamstring.
Most of Watford players who featured in their pre-season games in Austria against Ajax and Bayer Leverkusen emerged unscathed, with minor problems affecting only Nathaniel Chalobah and Isaac Success.
Watford will play another pre-season friendly away at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, and Gracia has told the club’s website he is hoping the players get back in a couple of days.
“[Success] has a little problem with his hamstring, but it is better to stop one day than to regret a worse injury,” said.
“I prefer to stop. I am sure in two or three days he will be ready.”
Success made 30 league appearances for Watford last season, scoring one goal.
