Jigawa Golden Stars Sack Coach… No I Resigned – Tata
Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL New comers, Jigawa Golden Stars have sacked its coach Rabi’u Tata from his duty.
The sack was contained in a release Tuesday signed by the Manniru Adamu Kazaure, Secretary Steering Committee of the club.
The release reads “The Steering Committee of Jigawa Golden Stars football club has relieved the Technical Adviser of the Club Rabi’u Tata from his duty.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the Committee Air Commodore Abubakar Saddieq (Rtd) and made available to newsmen.
According to the statement Rabi’u Tata is to hand over to Gilbert Opana as the new Technical Adviser of the team.”
But Rabi’u Tata has denied being sacked insisting he resigned
Jigawa Golden Stars currently lie 18th in the NPFL log with 14 points.
