Super Eagles and Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho has been nominated for the English Premier League Player of the month of February.

Iheanacho’s excellent performances in the month under review earned him a spot on the five-man list.

Iheanacho provided 2 goals and 3 assists for Leicester City having featured in all four of their league games in February.

The Nigerian’s five goal involvements came in a devastating two-match spell. He got a goal and two assists in a 4-2 win at Aston Villa and followed that up with a goal and an assist in Leicester City’s impressive 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

The Leicester City attacker however will battle four other nominees including Manchester United’s striker, Marcus Rashford Fulham’s duo of Bernd Leno and Manor Solomon
Other nominees are Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa and Emerson Royal of Tottenham

In the Manger of the Month award, Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag will battle Tottenham counterpart, Antonio Conte and Fulham manager Marco Silva.

The winners of both awards will be announced next week.
