Ahead if the draw for the 2020 Africa Cup.of Nations on August 15, the Confederation of African Football CAF has opted to celebrate liberia’s President and 1995 FIFA Golden Boot Best Player George Oppong Weah and the likes of Samuel Eto’o, Jay Jay Okocha, Didier Drogba and Yaya Toure to feature on the high profile draws ceremony of the tournament to be staged in Yaounde, Cameroon.

The African legendary players have stood the taste of time on the African and European football scenery reason CAF continuous celebrating the illumary soccer legends.

Samuel Eto’o voted four time African Best Player in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010 narrowed to former Man City’s Yaya Toure with a similar records ranging from 2011 to 2014 and lastly Didier Drogba three time winner of the highly esteemed African title.

History annals holds that the former Tonnerre and PSG striker remains the lone black to have uplifted the Golden European player award.

The draw slated for August 15, 2021 will unfold in the nation’s political capital Yaounde on the hills of mount Nkolyada hosting the Yaounde Conference Center.

The draws will witness the participation of 24 national selections to be lodged in four different groups. And games are expected to unfold in Yaounde, Douala, Limbe and Garoua as the Joint CAF and FIFA inspection missions continuous till date in a bide to fine tune preparations for a colourful draw ceremony full of fun and pegantry.
