Manchester United have pulled out of the race for Juventus star Paulo Dybala, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands.

According to the Telegraph, United were said to be in pole position to land the Argentine international in a swap deal involving  Belgian Romelu Lukaku, but his wage demands and lack of desire to move to England have halted the deal.

Dybala has in the past voiced his desire to remain at the Turin club and fight for his place, despite United’s efforts to put together a lucrative deal for the diminutive attacker.

The reports further indicated that Dybala wanted to be among the top earners at United, joining the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Paul Pogba and David De Gea.

Dybala is valued at £80m by the Turin-based club and has three years left on his £120,000-a-week contract with the Italian champions.

The 25-year-old is considered among the best attackers in the world and was Juve’s main man upfront until they signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

He has since fallen down the pecking order, and with the Italian giants having signed more players and being linked with a host of others, he might see his game time diminish even further.
