Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has made a surprise return to the English Premier League heavyweight, Manchester Uniter on season-ending loan deal after switching from the Chinese League on deadline day deal Friday, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

The struggling Red Devils completed the Odion’s signing of from Shanghai Shenhua on loan until the end of the season.

United were in the market for a striker and had shown interest to sign Joshua King from AFC Bournemouth but the deal failed to materialize as the Cherries were not willing to let their forward leave. And now the Red Devils have reached an agreement with Shanghai with Ighalo heading to Old Trafford but the deal has no option to buy.

The Nigeria international is still in China and will miss the United match against Wolves on Saturday but is expected to fly to United in the next few days.

There were, however, no eye-catching major deals in the final 24 hours of transfer activity for European clubs which continues the trend of recent January windows.
