Moses Simon’s French Ligue 1 club, Nantes are now faced with relegation battle after they were thrashed 4-0 at home by visitors , Strasbourg on Sunday.

The Super Eagles winger who played 82 minutes in the encounter could not rescue his team from the humiliating defeat.

Dimitri Lienard opened the flood gate of goals in the 16 minutes via penalty while Dialo scored the second goal in the 34th minute before the visitors ended the half time 2 goals up.

On resumption of hostilities, Ludovic Ajorque netted the third goal in 78th minute through another penalty while Kevin Zohi scored the 4th and final goal in the 83rd minute.

The defeat leaves Nantes 14th on the log with 13 points from 13 matches.

They are three points ahead of 18th placed Riems.
