Ahead of the matchday 7 encounter between high flying Giants Brillars FC of Enugu and Ibom Youths at the Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium on Saturday, midfielder, Onabolu Tunmise have expressed confidence that the Enugu boys fear no foes as they play away, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Enugu, the young dynamic attacking midfielder said the boys have grown into the league and will fear no club going forward.

Giant Brillars are going into the game after they thrashed visiting J Atete FC 3-0 in Enugu on Saturday

And Tunmise said the lads will draw inspiration from the victory going to Akwa Ibom State this Saturday

“We fear no foes. We have been in the system and we are growing and getting stronger.

“We won 3-0 on Saturday and we are pushed by the result to go to Akwa Ibom and get results. It does not matter who we are playing, we are equal to the task,” Tunmise who scored the opening goal on Saturday against J Atete, said

The Saturday clash is the first time both Ibom Youths FC and Giant Brillars are meeting in competitive match.

The first and the only encounter between the two team ended in a 2-1 win for the home side early this year during pre season

Ibom Youths are 9 points while Giant Brillars have 10 points in the Southern Conference B1 log standing.

In their matchday 6 matches, Giant Brillars won 3-0 at home against J Atete FC of Delta State while Ibom Youths played a two-all draw away to Campos FC of Owerri

Giant Brillars two players Reinhard Azubuike Young and Agu Offe have scored two goals each in the league.
