Enyimba FC of Aba and Akwa United are the best sides in the Matchday 8 results of the 2020/2021 NPFL season after they both picked away wins respectively.

While Enyimba recorded a 2-1 away win against high flying Nasarawa United in Lafia, Akwa United also picked their first away three points after their hard-earned 1-0 victory against bottom-placed Adamawa United in Bauchi.

However, Enyimba’s celebration was cut short after Chinedu Ohanachom in the 20 minute restored parity for the Solid Miners.

Christian Nnaji scored a brace in the second half in 48 and 90 minute to consolidate Israel Abia’s 23rd minute first strike to hand the Fly Antelopes their crucial three points.
