NPFL: Niger Tornadoes Seeks Revenge Against Lobi Stars In North-Central Derby

Niger Tornadoes of Minna are poised to take the maximum 3 points off their hosts Lobi Stars of Markudi in this weekend’s matchday 16 encounter slated to take place at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.
The Ikon Allah Boys alongside Rivers United are only the two teams with the highest number of points on the road this season (7) in group B.
The Coach Bala’s side have won 2 and drew 1 on their last travels and have equally scored 8 goals on the road this term, a sequence that have all it takes to send shivers down the spine of any host.
Tornadoes snatched a 2 all draw against Rangers in Awka the last time out on the road and are charged up to continue their rich vein of form.
Tornadoes’ last three road trips are; Won 1 Lost 1 and Drew 1, while trying to continue the decent away form, their weekend’s opponents Lobi Stars are the only team with 100% home record in the group this season.
The Ikon Allah Boys shared the points when Lobi Stars visited Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna in the first leg tie and are fired up to get their pound of flesh.
Only three points separate the two teams, Lobi Stars seats atop the table with 26 points while Tornadoes occupies the fourth place with 23 points.
Musa Wakili is back in the team after shaking off an injury that kept him out in the last couple of games.
