Ogene Targets Gold Medal In All Africa Games Karate
Africa Zone 3 UFAK champion, Ifeanyi Ogene (-67kg) said he is ready to represent Nigeria at the 2019 All Africa Games in Morocco.
Ogene stated that he had resumed training and working hard to ensure that 2019 would be a good year for him.
The 7 times National champion said winning gold at the Ufak Zone 3 Championship in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire is a morale booster ahead of the All Africa Games.
He said: “My target for 2019 is to participate and win medals for Nigeria at the 2019 All Africa Games in Morocco.
“I am working hard and preparing more to be the champion of my weight class and I believe that God will make my dreams come true”
He commended the board of Karate Federation of Nigeria for putting the athletes first in their dealings
Ogene said, “My appreciation to the Karate Federation of Nigeria led by Honorable Silas Agara for creating an enabling environment for the athletes, the technical director and the National coaches for ensuring that we the athletes are made their number one priority. I believe Nigeria athletes will excel at the forth coming All Africa Games”.
