European giants Real Madrid and Manchester United are both reportedly keen on landing Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

The former Lille star has had a fantastic start to the season in the serie A and currently tops the goal scoring chart with 8 goals ahead of top forwards like Paulo Dybala, Dusan Vlahovic, Edin Dzeko, Ciro Immobile, Lautaro Martinez and Olivier Giroud.

Both Real Madrid and Manchester United are in dire need of a goal scoring number nine and Osimhen has been shortlisted as a perfect fit for the present and future as both teams currently have ageing forwards in Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo leading their attacks in the current campaign.

The 23 year old joined Napoli in a €75M deal from French Ligue 1 club Lille back in 2020. And though his current market value is around €65.00m according to transfermarkt, Napoli are expected to demand more than what they paid to sign him 2 years ago.

Despite being sidelined for a couple of games with injury earlier in the season, Osimhen has scored 8 goals and provided two assists as Napoli top Serie A with 38 points from 14 matches, 8 points above closest rivals, Lazio who are second with 30 points.
