Over 160 Pupils Selected For 2019 FOSLA U-13 FCT Scholarship Tournament

No few than 160 pupils selected across the six Area Councils in the Federal Capital Territory as well as Karshi and Keffi in Nasarawa State are right now participating in the 2019 FOSLA U-13 FCT Scholarship Tournament holding at the school premises, Karshi, Abuja, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
The pupils who arrived the school premises in their various buses are currently undergoing screening as officials are on ground to ensure that the eight-team tournament kicks off without delay
Bestchoicesports.com.ng who is on ground in the school was told that some councils arrived the venue as early as 7:30 for the tournament which is scheduled to commence by 10:38 this morning.
FCT FOSLA U-13 Scholarship Tournament is a yearly championship played by pupils selected from the six Area Councils in the FCT – Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, Bwari Area Council, Kwali, Gwagwalada, Kuje, Abaji, Karshi (host community) and Keffi are all participating in this year’s tournmanet.
FOSLA U-13 Championship is an annual scholarship programme of former Nigeria Football Federation, NFF president, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdulahi which offers scholarship to the indigent pupils from the FCT.
The final pupils selected will go in for their secondary education in the school where they combine academics and football training.
The tournmanet holds in Kogi State and Abuja. The Kogi tournmanet was held on January 1st 2019 with over 25 pupils selected for the final competition.
The selected pupils in today’s championship will join the Kogi selected next week Saturday for another tournmanet and examination to determine the best among the pupils who will go for the scholarship starting from 2019/20 academic session.
