Oyo State Govt. Partners KIFA On Football Development

The new drive of Engr. Seyi Makinde-led Oyo state government to develop football in the state received a big boost last week when a delegation of Kanu International Football Academy led by legendary former footballer, Nwankwo Kanu paid the state governor a courtesy visit.
Gov. Makinde who received the KIFA team in his office expressed his happiness over the visit. Describing it as historic and timely, in view of the desires of his government to improve the fortunes of football in the state.
Gov. Makinde went ahead to implore KIFA management to work with the state and bring on its avowed expertise in the areas of grassroots football development.
Nwankwo Kanu thanked the state governor for the warm reception. He also spoke on the mission and vision of the fast growing football academy. Adding that it has the untold potential to change world football.
On his part, Prince Dapo Ajibade, Chief Executive Officer of KIFA, harped on how football can be used as a major tool to change the world positively.
“I am delighted to inform Your Excellency that KIFA is professionally manned by top notch coaches. And with centres spread across all the states of the country.
“I want to assure you that KIFA has the capability and capacity to help Oyo state achieve its desired football development,” the experienced football administrator stressed.
