Nigeria’s Blessing Oborududu will today fight America’s Tamyra Mensah-Stock for wrestling gold at the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Japan, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

This will be the 4th time the duo are meeting in the Summer Olympics with the American emerging victorious in the previous fights.

Blessing Oborududu and Tamyra Mensah-Stock will square up in the 68kg gold medal bout of Women Wrestling by 1:15pm Nigeria time

The American has beaten Blessing on three occasions but the Nigerian is posited to avenge her previous losses after she defeated her opponent in the semi-final.

Blessing may have her own pound of flesh by beating Tamyra in the final to win the elusive gold medal for Team Nigeria.

Another interesting thing about this gold wrestling fight is that both wrestlers are from the same ijaw ethnic tribe in Nigeria and while Tamyra, born and bred in United States, chose to represent America.

She is an Ekeremor Ijaw girl. See her face to confirm.

Blessing on the other hand is a Southern Ijaw girl, born in proper Niger Delta waterside and she is proudly representing Nigeria.
