Villarreal Celebrates Samuel Chukwueze’s Historic 200 Appearance

Spanish La Liga giants, Villarreal CF has eulogized Nigeria international, Samuel Chukwueze on his 200 appearance for the club.
The Super Eagles Winger reached the mileage on Thursday after featuring in the Yellow Submarine’s 4-2 win against Espanol.
Chukwueze remarkably achieved the feat in just 23 years of age.
“The Nigerian attacker is the youngest player to play that number of games for the Yellows
“Samu Chukwueze is now a 200-match Villarreal CF player. The Nigerian striker has reached 200 appearances for the Submarine after starting Thursday’s match against RCD Espanyol,” the club said in a statement Friday
At just 23 years of age, Chukwueze has surpassed this impressive figure, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to do so. In the current squad, only Manu Trigueros and Gerard Moreno have surpassed 200 appearances as a Yellow.
In his 200 games, Chukwueze has scored a total of 37 goals and ranks tenth in the all-time scoring charts.
He has 148 LaLiga appearances, 20 in the Europa League, 14 in the Copa del Rey, nine in the Champions League and 9 in the Conference League.
The former Diamond Football Academy star has made 27 international appearance for his country after making his debut in 2018. He has scored four times for the Super Eagles
