We Miss FCT League – Casmatt FA Captain

Captain of an Abuja based academy, Casmatt Football Academy, Umaru Musa has disclosed that himself and his teammate miss playing the FCT Football League.
Musa who stated this in Abuja on Saturday in an interview noted that the FCT League remains the highest football competition for academies in the federal capital adding that they also miss the State FA Cup matches.
The captain who was speaking on how the outbreak of covid-19 has affected the academy and football in the FCT, noted that the players are hungry to go back to the field of play to express themselves once again
“We played the FCT League last year and right now we miss the league. We miss it seriously. We also miss the FA Cup too. All the competitions that we used to take part in, we need them back.
“We are very ready to play football again. It is what we have signed to do and we are very much eager to go back to the pitch. We are hungry about football. Everybody wants to play,” he concluded.
Waco Football Academy is the defending champion of the 2019 FCT League
With the federal government lifting ban on contact sports, it is hoped that the FCT Football Association is making contingency plan for resumption of football activities in the federal capital particularly the FCT FA League.
