Leicester City manager, Brendon Rodgers have stated that the Foxes combative midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi’s value is beyond £50 million.

The Nigerian midfielder has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United previously with new reports claiming that Aston Villa have become additional admirers with £50 million transfer fee.

While the next transfer window approaches in June, Rodgers has taken moment to warn admirers that the 25-year-old midfield enforcer is much than the reported sum and disclosed that the FA Cup Champions are not ready to let their prices asset go

“He’s worth much more than that [£50 million],” Rodgers said, as per talkSPORT.

“A player of that quality and mentality, of course, you want to always keep, but when you have that player, he will always attract interest.

The Irishman added another warning to say that Ndidi has settled in Leicester and therefore could stay at the club for extended years.

“But he seems very settled here. I know he’s moved into a new house and he seems very, very happy.

“He’s a pleasure to work with and hopefully he can be around the club for many years,” Rodgers concluded.

Leicester City have endured poor run of form recently with the 2016 EPL Champions currently 11th on the long with 27 points from 23 matches. That have played 3 matches less.
