Napoli of Italy striker, Victor Osimhen has linked up with his teammates in Abuja ahead of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, qualifier against Guinea Bissau after he flew in from Lagos.

The Serie A top scorer arrived Lagos over the weekend where he signed endorsement with a company before he jetted out to join the team’s camp in the federal capital.

Osimhen’s arrival has increased the number of players in camp to 22.

The 22 players in camp include: Kevin Akpoguma, Joe Aribo, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Kingsley Aniagboso, Francis Uzoho, Wilfred Ndidi, Daniel Bameyi, Kenneth Omeruo and Frank Onyeka.

Others are: Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu, Bright Osayi, Ahmed Musa, Terem Moffi, Victor Sochima, Calvin Bassey Bruno Onyemaechi, Samuel Chukwueze, Kelechukwu Iheanacho and Victor Osimhen.

The team observed two training sessions on Monday and Tuesday evening and will continue preparations for the matchday 3 and 4 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON qualifiers against Guinea Bissau.

The match will take place on Friday inside the main bowl of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja by 5pm WAT. The team will jet out if the country over the weekend for their return natch next week.
