Abia Warriors energetic midfielder Omini Somtochukwu has expressed his delight to be back in action for the Umuahia Warriors after so many months on the touchline, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
The box to box midfielder starred in Abia Warriors emphatic win over FCIU at the Umuahia township stadium in one of MD 15 fixtures of the 2019/2020 Season.
The former Ikorodu United midfielder was handed his first start and game of the season after being unused Sub in two game and was called to serve against FCIU owing to Fatai Abdullahi incured injury against Heartland of Owerri on MD 14.
The Midfield Trojan did not fail to impress in the game as he was alive to his duties and was always on guard in shielding his defence backline as well as putting into play his trademark assets of detecting game pace which saw Abia Warriors domination of its opponents in the mid field.
Omini was however replaced by Adekunle Adeleke in a tactical like substitution effected by Coach Emmauel Deutsch with just 10mins of play left in the second half.
