The minister of youth and sports development, Sunday Dare has arrived Benin, Edo State capital for a meeting the 2020 National Sports Festival, NSF, Local Organising Committee, LOC, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The minister and his aides left Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital this morning for Edo state where he will attend a planned meeting with Members of the LOC for the 2020 National sports festival. He is also expected to inspect projectes at some venues.

It could be recalled that the minister left Abuja Friday after attending the LMC/LA LIGA coaching course, did a stopover for a series of meetings in Lagos before heading to Bayelsa state.

Despite his very busy schedule, he still found time to be in touch with the Nigeria Wrestling team and the male/female basketball teams that picked Tokyo Olympics qualification tickets at the weekend.

He is also abreast of happenings in para-powerlifting where events took a new twist over the weekend with the suspension of the president by angry board members.
He has vowed to sanitize the sporting sector and return Nigeria sports to it’s glory days. Together we shall achieve this lofty dream.
