Director of sports for FCT and acting Secretary of Social Development Secretariat ,Dilichukwu Onyedinma has set a target of surpassing team FCT performance at the last national sports festival hosted in Abuja, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

Team FCT finished in an unprecedented 7th position at the last national sports festival with medals in football, gymnastics,athletics,basketball,volleyball and many others.

With that performance still resonating Dilichukwu Onyedinma believes the team can punch above their weight while machinery has been set in motion towards achieving that objective, and when probed further on what would be different this time around she said FCT Minister , Musa Bello and Minister of state for FCT Dr Rajimatu Tijani are working assiduously to ensure that our preparation is top notch,
they have also made efforts to have fund released to the team so that we can go into closed camping before the festival

According to her some of the athletes who left initiallly are returning back because they can see the sincerity of purpose in what we are doing and has given a better chances of meeting our target
These factors have led to paradigm shift in our focus and preparation which has boosted our chances of finishing among the too five at Edo 2020

She however calls for the support of media saying the minister alone can not do it but through the support of every stakeholder, team FCT can achieve the target.
