Goddosky FC Chairman Donates Thousands Of Food Materials To Fight Coronavirus

Known for his generosity and philanthropic disposition, the chairman of Nigeria National League, NNL side, Goddosky FC of Ezinifite, Nnewi, Anambra state, Chief Eloka Godwin Agbasimelo, popularly known as Oga Ndi Oga, has donated thousands of assorted food materials, beverages, among others to the people of Nnewi South residing in Lagos state to cushion the impact of coronavirus and sit at home order by the government, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
Chief Agbasimelo as part of activities to also mark the celebration of Easter by the Christendom on Sunday donated one thousand bags of rice, one thousand I thousand cartons of tomatoes, I thousand tubers of yam, I thousand cartons of groundnut oil, 600 bags of garri and other essential materials needed to help all the people of Nnewi South comprising of 5 communities living in Lagos to get through lockdown period in the state
Chief Agbasimelo who distributed the items to the affected people in Lagos through his NGO, Oga Ndi Oga Foundation, ONOF, appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to help the millions affected greatly by the lockdown.
In a statement personally signed by the ONOF founder and addressed to the people, he called on the government and private individuals to be proactive in the fight against COVID-19 and to do the little they can to assist the government as well match on to victory against the pandemic
“Due to the coronavirus pandemic in the world today, Oga Ndi Oga Foundation which is founded and powered by Chief Eloka Godwin Agbasimelo a known businessman and philanthropist is providing some relief materials such as I thousand bags of rice, I thoisand cartons of tomatoes, I thousand tubers of yam, I thousand cartons of groundnut oil, 600 bags of garri and other essential materials needed to help all the peoples of Nnewi South comprising of 5 communities living in Lagos to get through this difficult period.
“We therefore implore us all in Nnewi South – Ezinifite, Osumenyi, Utah, Akwaihedi, Ebenator – and indeed Anambra State at large, to be proactive in the fight against COVID-19 and to do the little that is required of us to assist the government as well match on to victory against this pandemic, we shall surely overcome.
“We use this opportunity to call on prominent individuals, dignitaries, elected representatives, government officials and other well-meaning Nigerians to pitch in to ease the pain and suffering of our people in this period of hardship.
“In unity we shall conquer. God bless us all,” he said.
