Super Eagles defender, Elderson Echiejile has called on his teammates to name the officials who asked them to pay money before they could be selected for the 2014 World squad, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

The Nigeria media airwaves have been inundated within past weeks with several former players claiming that selection for the squad to Brazil in 2014 World Cup required bride payments to the NFF Officials or the coaching crew.

“It’s very ridiculous with these allegations going around, and I wonder why the names of these people are not mentioned,” Echiejile said via Instagram.

“They should call out those who asked for bribes. As for me, I played under the late Amodu Shuaibu and Stephen Keshi and there was no time they asked for money from me to be included in the team,” Echiejile said.
