Ebi Egbe Advocates Resuscitation of School Sports in Nigeria

Sports facility construction expert, Mr.Ebi Egbe has emphasised the need to revive school sports in the country.
This according to him is the surest path way for Nigeria to return to the glorious years in Sports.
Mr. Egbe in an interview with newsmen in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital said taking sports to primary school and secondary school would enhance the development of sports in the country.
He noted that many sports administrators and stars rose to national and international prominence through school sports,stressing that it is a veritable tool to curtail social vices in the society.
According to him, building sports facilities in the various schools and regular school competition from state to the national levels would guarantee a return to the glory days of the principal cup.
He posited that education and Sports develop students intellect and strength just as it serves as a means to take youths off criminality.
The FIFA licensed match agent opined that school sports would enable children imbibe the sports and fitness culture.
He challenged parents to lead by example and expose their children to sports legends who can be sources of inspiration to them.
Popularly called Moni love, Mr. Egbe frowned at the practice of approving schools and institutions without space and facilities for sports by government.
Mr. Ebi Egbe equally called on managers of sports to ensure that they seek advice from experienced administrators in order to exchange ideas so as to improve sports in the country.
