The 21-year-old hitman had parted ways witj hisnformer agent, Jean-Gerard Benoit Czajka/Didier Frenay and has now engaged the services a new agent under the direction of Lille president Gerard Lopez.

On Monday, Lille and Napoli gave the 2019 AFCON bronze winner a ten-day ultimatum to take a decision on the lingering transfer move.

Report says Osimhen’s former agent had put personal interest before anything else in his dealings with Napoli.

This has been the major reason behind the stalled deal between Victor Osimhen and the Partenopei.

The striker had arrived Napoli to sign a deal rumoured to be within the region of €70 million but the reported move collapsed promoting him to return to France

The deadlock in the proposed switch to Napoli and the perceived lack of trust made Osimhen align with a new agent.
His new agent, William D’avilla who currently manages Emmanuel Dennis (Club Brugge), Moses Simon (Nantes), Samuel Kalu (Bordeaux) among others was recommended by Lille president Gerard Lopez.
A very experienced football agent, William D’avilla was involved in the transfer of Victor Osimhen from Charleroi to Lille. This no doubt will open a new chapter in the intriguing twist to the proposed transfer of one of Nigeria’s hottest football exports.

Meanwhile Osimhen’s reported move to Napoli is nearing conclusion with report Wednesday saying that the striker is just “a step a way from signing the deal”
The young striker is expected to sign a 5-year deal that will keep him in the club till 2025.

“Victor Osimhen is now one step away from joining Napoli. Personal terms agreed – he’s ready to sign until June 2025. Napoli are now working to complete last details with Lille and his agents then the deal will be finally completed,” Sky Sports reports
