Francis Uzoho Recovers From Injury, Begins Training

Super Eagle goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, has resumes training after 9 months injury layoff, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

 Uzoho picked up the injury in Nigeria’s friendly clash against the Selecao of Brazil in October 2019.

But the goal tender returned to full training again after spending time on the sidelines due to a knee ligament injury

The young goalkeeper was stretchered off after the hour mark and missed the rest of the campaign as a result of the setback.

He was on the treatment table for almost a year but on Friday, the Deportivo La Coruna player on loan to Cypriot club was delighted to returning training.

He went on twitter to express his joy and appreciation to God saying “WOW, I can finally dive again. IN CHRIST ALONE”.

The 21-year-old joined Cypriot club APOEL from Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna last month.

He spent last season on loan at another Cypriot club Omonia.
