NNL To Organise Course On Domestic Transfer Matching System For Clubs

Ahead of the 2029/2921 season of the Nigeria National League, head of Secretariat and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mr. Emmanuel Adesanya has hinted on plans to organize a refresher course to further acquaint all managers of participating clubs on the importance and applications of the Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS), Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
The use of the (DTMS) in the registration and transfer of players ahead of the new calendar in the league has been brought to the front burner by management or the “most Important League” in the country following its benefits.
According to global best practices as approved by the world football governing body FIFA, clubs are to have functional DTMS account.
The NNL in line with such provisions has requested clubs to transmit to the League’s secretariat such effective account.
The clubs are as well to forward the names of their DTMS managers to enable the NNL liaise with the clubs adequately and to keep proper track and movement of players from one club to another.
The 2919/2020 NNL season was aborted in July after it suffered several postponement since it went on break on December 19, 2020 as well as the outbreak of the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic.
