While Omeruo scored as Leganes recorded a 3-1 win against Eibar in their pre-season game at the Butarque Sports Facility on Saturday morning, Tyronne Ebuehi featured in his first game for FC Twente in their 3-2 win against German second division club Holstein Kiel, in Saturday’s pre-season friendly.
Omeruo put Leganes ahead in the third minute, nodding home Dani Ojeda’s corner.
Rosales got the second in the 12th minute, while Jose Armaiz added the third five minutes before the break but Quique pulled a goal back for Eibar in stoppage time.
Omeruo featured for 90 minutes in the game and the centre-back scored one goal in 23 league appearances for the Cucumber Growers last season.
The Nigeria international is expected to leave the club this summer following their relegation to the Segunda Division last season.
Tyronne Ebuehi joined the FC Twente on a season-long loan from Portuguese giants Benfica.
The 2018 World Cup defender was in the starting eleven for FC Twente before he was replaced by Nathangelo Markelo at the start of the second half.
Fellow new signing Danilo marked his debut for Twente with a brace while Alexander Jeremejeff added the third goal.
Twente next friendly game is against Emmen on September 5th and they will kick-off the league campaign at home to Fortuna Sittard which comes up on September 12.
