Following serious discussions with Adamu Hassan popularly known as Baba Ramatu, the Kano Pillars Football Club’s prolific attacker has accepted to return to his home State club, Nasarawa United for the 2020/2021 football league season.
Disclosing this today, chairman of Nasarawa United FC, Barr. Isaac Danladi, told the club’s Media Department that the player who had been a subject of interest from various clubs finally agreed to return to the club of his origin after leaving the Lafia-based Club several seasons ago.
Barr. Danladi stressed that despite Kano Pillars playing in the continent this coming season, the mobile attacker chose to join Nasarawa United to help them win laurels next season.
He described the move as ground breaking as the player will bring his wealth of experience to bear and add to the attacking prowess of the team, having helped Kano Pillars to win trophies in the past.
This development now puts to rest the many interests from top NPFL clubs in need of the services of the Nasarawa State-born skilful striker.
Details of his unveiling will be made public soon.
The 2020/2021 NPFL season is expected to resume in October
