CAF, founded in 1957 by four nations: Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and South Africa has its administrative headquarters in Cairo Egypt and manages competitions, offers technical and administrative training courses while actively fostering the promotion and practice of football. The Confederation organizes championships such as the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN or AFCON), the most popular competition.
It maintains very close links with FIFA in coordinating tournaments for different events such as the World Cup, Youth and Women competitions and the Olympic Games Football Tournaments.

Job Title: Competitions Safety & Security Manager

Job Responsibilities
Competitions Safety & Security Manager who can contribute to CAF’s overall success by effectively handling the following duties:
Responsible for the preparation of all competitions related safety and security documents
Monitor all in- country risk assessment and report on potential high risk countries with impact on CAF competitions / matches
Liaise with member associations on competitions safety and security related operations for CAF organized matches
Coordinate the activities of all national security officer in relation to competition specific
Liaise with all national security officers on matters relating to competition safety and security
Responsible for writing reports on competitions safety and security
Liaise with competitions to identify and classify high risk matches and report same to Head of safety and security
Link between the safety and security department and competitions department on matters of competitions safety and security
Monitor the safety and security related in country assessment and identify MA’s with serious need for an intervention programme
Liaise with CAF safety and security officers on behalf of the department
Monitor and follow-up on all competitions related safety and security components
Compile end of seasons’ incidents reports for CAF confederation cup and Champions League
Read all submitted reports by CAF safety and security officers and summarize key findings for the attention of Head of safety and security
Liaise with club licensing in developing specific competitions related safety and security requirements for stadiums
Ensure the collation of all safety certificates of all stadiums to be used for all CAF matches and tournaments
Participate in competitions safety and security related workshops and trainings
Coordinate safety and security meetings with security agencies
Carry out any other function as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of safety and security
Requirements
A minimum of first Degree in any field (A sport related field shall be added advantage)
Certificate in sport safety and security or any safety and security
Proven experience in football match organization safety and security
Fluent in both spoken and written English and French
Computer literate
Job Title: Media Channel Officer – Internal Communication
Location: Africa
Duties
Internal Communications & Media Channel Officer who can contribute to CAF’s overall success by effectively handling the following duties:
Monitor external media TV shows and reports published by newspapers and magazines across the world and report to the Head of Media
Gather all CAF news & its football related information and share with all CAF Staff through the various Platforms such as; Newsletters, Press clippings, Emails, Whatsapp groups, etc…
Coordinate the requests of the various divisions/departments during CAF events and Competitions; Speeches for CAF Spokespersons, Media Ops, Photographer, etc.
Support the Digital and Content team with news and information related to the activities of CAF President and the Executive Committee Members
Meet journalists and foster good relations with the media
Answer media Operations and relations inquiries under the supervision of the Head of Media
Launch accreditations windows for CAF competitions and CAF events
Make sure that CAF Media Channel is updated with its related news and info
Scrutiny to make sure that the Media Channel accounts doesn’t contain any fake accounts or any pending request (Contains more than 10K accounts)
Execute any other task as directed by the director of Communications/Head of Media

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Duties
Senior Accountant who can contribute to CAF’s overall success by handling the following duties:
Support adequate Preparation of financial statements on tight due dates
Ensure that appropriate implementation of accounting Standards (IFRS)
Manage the accounting functions, including the general ledger accounts, and their registration
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Support handling A/P, A/R and their registration
Update financial data in databases to ensure that the information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Support Budget Preparation in details
Establish contact with all related departments and parties to gather data and information
Structure a reliable, flexible, and easy to deal with Budget formats covering all concerned items
Consolidate all Budget gathered financial information to issue CAF’s Budget
Prepare and submit periodic Financial reports, including Budget reports (Actual Verses Budget)
Analyse variances of actual verses budget with justifying reasons, (Calculate budget variances and report significant problems)
Periodic update (monthly) on the status of the budget for each concerned department in relation to actual incurred amounts
Authorize and approve all payments and incurred expenses with the set Budget
Revisit initially issued Budget in the light of actual or new circumstances or events, and which may lead to issuance of an updated Budget
Support the Finance Department in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closings,
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary,
Handle the requirements of external auditors

Senior Services & Logistics Manager who can effectively handle the following duties:
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers
Monitor the execution of contractual charges of outsourced service providers, such as: security, maintenance of the transportations and maintaining the provision of Services (Telephone Lines, Caterings, Translations, etc.) with the 3rd parties’ service providers;
Responsible for the warehouse and supplies’ management;
Participate with the Head of Department in planning & development of the departmental budget and the provision of equipment & supplies;

Development and optimization of the content department ensuring that CAF message are in support of the content strategies and editorial decisions formulated along with the Chief of Communications.
Analyse the performance of the content against CAF objectives and strategies.
Oversee all the content put out to the media through, CAF Media channel, interviews, collateral, speeches, recorded messages, newsletters, etc…
Draft the speeches for CAF senior staff & members during CAF events and advise them on written responses to the media.
Draft press releases and other media materials for use in announcements.
Collaborate with Media department in order to fulfil the vision of the Communications division under the supervision of Chief of Communications.

Duties
National Teams Competitions Coordinator who can contribute to CAF’s overall success by effectively handling the following duties:
Invite all National Associations to engage in the competition;
Registration and follow up with the engaged teams;
Establishing the format and the calendar of the competition;
Establishing the fixtures of each stage;
Coordinate all events of the matches (officials designations, officials replacement, crisis management when required);
Ensure all match related forms are received;
Regularly update the results and the calendar of the competition and synchronize it with the communication department;
Cooperation with marketing, legal and other departments/divisions;
Communication with the Standing Committees;
Following the matches in the Match Command Center (MCC);
Preparation of all the documents of the Final Tournaments (draw, letters, host, teams, members…etc.);
Preparation of the files for organizing committee members during the final tournaments;
Ordering the needed material for the Final tournament (flags, medals, stationary, trophies, documents…etc.) and following up with Logistics;
Work on the incidents report of the competitions;
Statistics and Communiqués of the Final tournaments.
