As the Alhaji MK Usman Kusopa Football League is about to commence on Thursday 3rd of December 2020, the Chairman Mokwa Local Government are of Niger State, Alhaji Yahyah Sheti has donated set of jerseys and balls to the participating ward teams.

According to the statement by the Secretary to the organising committee, Audu Mohammed Kudu, the council chairman donated balls and four set of Jerseys to Kudu , Labozhi,Kpaki Takuma and Bokani wards in preparation for the league.

In the same vein, the honourable member representing Mokwa Lavun and Edati federal constituency, Honourable Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi has reached a partnership with the committee by donating a sum of N10,000 to each ward team.

Audu commended the Chairman and the lawmaker for their good gesture adding that it will go along way to spur the teams into action and help boost their morale.

He also revealed that there will be an official opening ceremony on the kick off date where football stakeholders, dignitaries across all the wards and Mokwa local government would be witnessing the first match of the league between Kudu ward vs Kpaki/Takuma ward team billed for 4pm at Government Day Secondary School, Kudu.
