Again, Another NPFL Club, Kwara United’s Bus   Catches Fire In Asaba

‘One week one bus catches fire’ could be a suitable title as another Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL club side, Kwara United Monday morning escaped death after their bus caught fire.

Kwara United were on their way back to Ilorin after their Matchday 11 encounter with Rangers International FC of Enugu.

Kwara United, table toppers, lost the game to the ‘Fly Antelopes’ by alone goal.

But on their way back to the base, their bus caught fire although players and officials are not hut

Efforts to speak with the Kwara United Media Officer for response were unsuccessful as his mobile phone number was not reachable at the point of writing this story

Following 0-1 loss to Rangers in their last two encounters, Abdullahi Biffo men who were unbeaten in their last seven games remained on top of the table with 24 points from 11 games, the same points with Enyimba International who have played two games lesser than the Afonja Warriors.

The fire incident happened in Asaba, Delta State capital.
