The Senate Chief Whip who on Sunday called on Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta to beg his Chelsea counterpart Thomas Tuchel to “cut small soap for him” ahead of the Wednesday night North-London derby, have expressed delight over the outcome of the match.
Arsenal defeated Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge on Wednesday matchday 36 of the 2020/2021 English Premier league.
Reacting via his Facebook page, Kalu who masterminded Enyimba FC of Aba’s heroic exploits in the CAF Champions League between 2000 and 2007 including back-to-back triumphs, said he only said that Tuchel should give Arteta some soap and not all.
“… I said some not all the soap,” Senator Kalu said immediately after the match.
Kalu who is a great fan of the 2004 Premier League “Invicible” champions added “Great game anyways. #CHEARS #Africapillarofsports #OUK”
Recall that on on Sunday, the two-time Abịa State governor from 1999 to 2007 had asked Arteta to beg Tuchel to cut small soap for him ahead if the Wednesday night clahs.

Arsenal win made it double for the Gunnar’s against Chelsea as they won the first leg 3-1 late last year.
The win has made Arsenal’s qualification for Europa League next season a bit probable.
Last year, Orji Uzor Kalu declared his intention to buy 35% share in Arsenal, a dream many Nigerians and global football followers are hoping should come true.
